4YoungMinds was founded to break down the stigma around mental health that prevents so many young people from seeking help. Empowering young people to take control of their own emotional health and wellbeing.

4 Young Minds was founded in October 2018 by London youth worker Denise Brown after witnessing the impact that mental health has on young people in today’s society. We deliver group workshops for young people aged 11-25 from all backgrounds that break down stigma and signpost to services for further support.

We aim to bridge the gap between young people and mental health services by offering a holistic approach, ensuring that parents, carers and teachers also feel confident to support young people in their care who may be struggling with their wellbeing.

What we offer

The 100 Black Men of London is a community-based charity led by Black men delivering programmes and activities focused on Mentoring, Education, Economic Empowerment, and Health & Wellness.

We have been serving our community since 2001, and impacting thousands of lives through the work we do.

Our Community Mentoring Programme is accredited and highly acclaimed. Children 10+ are taken through a life-skills programme covering important topics like self-esteem, goal setting, money management, succeeding at school, social media, and more.

Economic Empowerment is one of the fundamental needs for the development of any community. Our Business Programme is based on the ethos of empowering entrepreneurs to build sustainable world-beating businesses that make real profit, grow, and create a business legacy for our children and community.

Education remains the central means of the advancement of our youth. With cuts and challenges in the public education system, it is more important than ever for community organisations to support parents and young people to build their capacity to learn and succeed at school.

Our Health & Wellness Programme is designed to educate and encourage people to take charge of their health, by focusing on topics like fitness & nutrition, diabetes, prostate cancer, hypertension, breast cancer, sickle cell anaemia, and other conditions.

Our mission is to create leaders of character and purpose for tomorrow’s world, drawn from those most in need in grassroots communities. We view education as a launchpad for this mission and as a gateway to belonging to an influential peer group who will individually and collectively exert positive influence in society.

EYLA exists to nurture and develop the leadership potential, health and well-being of children and young people, especially BAMEs,

We have created a zone of magical realism, channelling energy and ambition into productive pursuits unlocking the true potential in each child.

We work with our partners and parents to motivate and encourage students to go beyond their personal best. We run weekly workshops and seminars utilising our own unique bespoke leadership curriculum, built on seven core competencies:

Real Life Events (RLE) facilitates relationships between businesses, education providers and community groups to deliver industry experiences and career insight for young people.

Connecting businesses to education and community groups allows young people opportunities to take part in activities at local businesses and experience industries and career options they can aspire to work in.

RLE realise that young people aged 11- 21 may be limited to access or to have experiences in corporate companies and therefore are unaware of the number of career paths available to them.

Working with businesses from all industries we coordinate, supervise, monitor and evaluate structured activities. RLE main aim is to strengthen 21st century skills such as collaboration, teamwork and creative activities to empower the next generation and our community by providing hands on Real Life experiences.

RLE found its passion in creating opportunities for young people to explore the variety of career options to find personal strengths and meaningful career paths to develop interest into passions.
