Description

The Karikari Foundation is a non-profit association set up by Philippa Karikari, a senior social care professional and the 1st princess of Miss Pride of Africa UK. As part of her life-long mission Philippa endeavours to continue a legacy campaign from 2021, the first of many initiatives to improve social care and economic prosperity amongst Africans and the diaspora.

Our starting mission is to improve the quality of life for African women and children globally

  • When our Founder visited Ghana in 2019 as a community volunteer, underfunding in hospitals and care homes was clear, replaying the pressure of many health and social care systems worldwide. The cost and frequent need for equipment are not always met, impacting on the level of care received by service users.

*By 2021 we aim to increase and create a supply of much needed items to distribute in care institutions across Kumasi, Ghana*

Our KariCare Boxes are a professionally designed package of essentials containing items that will enable hard-working employees to deliver better quality care without compromising the health of themselves, patients or service users.

Items you will be funding include; medical hand gloves, feeding bibs, personal care, sanitary and washing equipment, disposable hair covers and more.
