Why did you start KLA Essentials Limited?
Well, i started KLA Essentials because I am interested in the growth and development of children. I understand children are learning and exploring the world everyday, gaining a greater sense of self. This evolution in personality contributes their likes and dislikes, fears and phobias as well as the fun-filled memories with friends and family. I, myself had a rich and nurturing childhood, developing and honing in on the very skills, I learnt growing up. So, if i could provide the same experience to one other family, i would have fulfilled my commitment starting this business.

Beards and Books is an educational programme which focuses on providing tuition, delivering mentoring workshops, publishing online educational content, hosting storytime events and curating subscription boxes for children and young people.
As a company, we offer a variety of services such as:
1. Tuition: We offer core subject tuition ranging from SATS to GCSE preparation. The sessions are held either in pairs, groups, or one-on-one where highly-trained tutors track, diagnose, and evaluate students progress to maximise student potential.
2. Mentoring: We pair young people with older peers who act as positive role models to support their learning and development.
3. Storytelling: We conduct workshops for infants and children based on different themes where multicultural tales, fables, and storytellers are used to diversify the experience.
4. Online educational content: We provide downloadable content such as workshops, Powerpoints, and printables, that is in-line with the school’s curriculum and are designed to best support a student’s learning.
5. Subscription boxes: We provide tailored book subscription boxes available for purchase by parents and teachers which are packed with culturally inclusive books and treats from around the world.

Sounique Montessori is in the Streatham Methodist Church Hall on Riggindale Road, Streatham Park, SW16 1QH, run by experienced and qualified Montessori and Early Year Practitioners. The environment is a 2, 000+ sq ft large, fresh hall with private enclosed garden. It will also benefit from a private entrance. The nursery will have capacity for up to 25 children.
Each day the indoor environment is carefully prepared to provide activities to stimulate and develop concentration, independence, learning, self-discipline, confidence and creativity.
Children are admitted from the term in which they turn 2 years of age (unless they attend as part of Sounique Child).
Our day sessions are £70 per full day (8.45am – 3.15pm). Morning/afternoon sessions available on request. This will be inclusive of any fruit snacks, Milk and craft materials. Children bring healthy packed lunch.
We offer the Universal 15 and Extended funded hours places as part of a full time place only. Additional sustainability charge applies.
We are a Montessori child minding service opened since September 2012. We were graded Ofsted Outstanding in our last inspection (November 2nd 2016).
Our aim is to provide a safe, happy and stimulating child centric environment. We encourage children to challenge themselves, be curious and share their thoughts and ideas about the world around them. We focus on good manners and friendly behaviour equally numeracy and literacy. We support children to be independent in their needs, self care and learning.
OPENING HOURS:
Our core hours are 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday, 46 weeks of the year. We close on National and Bank Holidays.
