Mindwalk Yoga is a virtual well-being studio, and social enterprise focused on supporting Black women’s wellness with a much-needed rebalancing of representation in the wellness sector. The virtual well-being studio was founded by Zakiya Bishton, a qualified yoga teacher with over twelve years of teaching experience and expertise in yoga therapy for anxiety, trauma and insomnia. The virtual well-being studio is run by a multi-skilled team of Black female practitioners, Sound Therapist, Cherelle Sappleton, and Yoga Teachers Karen James, Natasha Lee, Paula Hines and Nicole Windle.

Mindwalk’s mission is that well-being is not exclusive or expensive but forms part of a much-needed routine to promote mental wellness. The virtual well-being studio always has a trial offer for new people to mindwalk yoga available on their website. Anyone wishing to be a member has options based on a sliding pay tier from as little as a low-income monthly membership of £10, standard £20/£30 and pay-it-forward tiers of £45/£60 to contribute to people in challenging circumstances. 20% of memberships are offered as bursary (free) memberships to anyone in challenging circumstances. The model aims to reach everyone, particularly those who wouldn’t usually have access to yoga. Classes are suitable for all ages, and all levels of ability, focusing on community support and easy-to-follow language.

Classes are hosted on Zoom, and cameras are optional. Mindwalk Yoga has built a caring and supportive community of people connecting from all over the UK and beyond.

I would begin with me, being born in France, having a need to help others from a very young age: As my family and friends took notice, I came to the realisation I should open my own office one day, being a counsellor or a therapist 🙂

I decided to study to be both: a counsellor and a holistic therapist. I truly believe in the benefit of holistic healing, to not just treat the body and the mind separately but together, as both aspects of our being are intertwined.

After finally being a certified holistic therapist by The Guild of Holistic Therapists in the U.K. and the ICOES
I decided to open my office to all women willing to get private counselling for mental and emotional support.
But also for those who look for a community where they will be accepted and free to indulge in self-care and wellness centers through weekend retreats, and spa days in the best hotels in the country.

  • Guided Meditations

    £10

    Any kind of guided meditation lasting 20 minutes. Completely bespoke based on your needs. Done over Skype or similar.

  • Tarot Readings

    £10

    Single question or general reading, sessions last 15-20 minute and take place on Skype or similar.

  • Reiki

    From £25

    A hands on healing session to balance the chakras. Lasts between 25 and 45 minutes, can be done in person if you live within London or on Skype.

  • The Path to Light

    £200

    A 4 week bespoke programme involving daily journaling, guided meditations, mindset training, joyful movement, self love techniques and Skype support sessions.

  • Mantras, Mindset & Meditation

    £100

    Involves intensive training on mindset through guided meditations and positive mantras, helping you to leave the programme able to implement these practices.

  • I Love Me

    £50

    This programme is about learning to love your body through appreciating what it does for you. It’s about liking every bit of you and finding your true joyful movement.

I’m a London based holistic healer and positivity coach. I offer positivity coaching programmes, virtual guided meditation sessions, reiki sessions, attunements, tarot readings and I also sell reiki charged crystal chip bracelets. Any healing sessions can be done over Skype as well as in person so location doesn’t matter! 

Enchanted Salts are lovingly made by hand in East Lothian, using ingredients that are responsibly sourced, vegan friendly and cruelty free.  My blends are infused with essential oils and charged with Reiki healing energy which not only detoxifies and relaxes you but also helps to balance you emotionally and mentally.

We are a fully accessible holistic therapy centre which has been established for over 7 years.

Why join Pen Therapy?

Live journaling. Why join a session when you can just write at a time of your choosing and at your own leisure? Well for one, we would absolutely encourage you to do that, and well done if you already do! Joining a session creates a sense of accountability to commit to this time for yourself, which will hopefully then inspire you to write down your thoughts more often in your own time.

Group sessions. Share the experience of journaling alongside others, while maintaining a personal experience. Just like completing a workout as a class, there is something about connecting with others that adds to your sense of motivation! There is never any pressure to share your words, as they are your own to explore long after the session ends.

Creative prompts. Each session is led by a professional who has a specialism in creative writing. Creative prompts to help guide your journaling will be provided, including questions that are designed to help you deepen your connection with yourself and facilitate personal growth.
