Duodu London fuses traditional African print with contemporary fashion.
The brand draws inspiration from its founders African roots. Designer Danny Kay Duod grew up in Ghana, where from a young age he used his own designs to personally explore the process of screen printing onto cloth. It was then that he set up a small business selling prints to women in the local community. From this sparked Danny’s interest in apparel design and production.
Duodu London launched in 2012 as a line of t-shirts screen printed with hand drawn designs inspired by African tribal art. The brand has now expanded to offer a collection of tailored waistcoats, bow ties and pocket squares, alongside a line of bomber jackets. All garments are proudly designed and produced in London.
