Hi, I’m Makai, founder of Ovenboy – an unconventional oven cleaning business for teens.

I started this business after months of cleaning the oven at home for pocket money. My love for cleaning got me a Saturday job at a local barber shop for a year but it became boring and I decided that it was time to do my own thing. As a young person, my mum has always taught me the importance of working hard and being entrepreneurial.

I hope to start a movement for young boys like myself to see beyond social media and computer games, inspiring them to be ready for the real world and provide them with indispensable skills to benefit their future. If you’d like to make a booking, or join the team, please get in touch!
