My qualifications include a PGCE (Mathematics) from the Institute of Education London, a Level 5 Additional Diploma in Teaching Mathematics in the Life long Learning sector and a BSc degree in Physical Sciences (Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry) with computing.

From 2001, I have been teaching Mathematics in Uk secondary schools and FE colleges and  in a variety of roles including Teacher of Mathematics; Mathematics Support Teacher; Private Maths Tutor and Lecturer in Mathematics.

I teach GCSE, Functional Skills and Key stage 3 Mathematics, to both young people and adults.  This includes assessment; hourly  groups or one to one tuition sessions; revision/exam preparation workshops and Maths  fun and games .  

The aims of my tuition sessions are to facilitate good understanding of mathematical concepts; to boost learners’ skills and confidence in solving mathematical problems and to achieve clients’/learners’ targets/goals.   I have a very good track record of helping students to pass Maths exams.  

My teaching approach is supportive and learner-centered and I am adept at making mathematical concepts easy to understand.
